CYPERUS POLYSTACHYOS    “Bunchy Sedge” 

Family: Cyperaceae 

Sprouting: 10-60 days. 

Perennial to 1m, grows in water and mud.  Tussock-forming trait makes it a great plant in shallow water creeks and lagoons, and along fresh-water dams, rivers, and drains up to a depth of 25-50cm.  Great for holding banks together. Frost tolerant.  Flowers Summer, Autumn, and Winter.
